Dept. of Industrial Management (Introduction to the Department)
The Industrial Management Department was established in 1990 and the MS degree program started in 1999.
The Department fosters student development in Technology Industry, Manufacturing Industry & Service Industry. It emphasizes on student team work spirit, communication, technology competency as the goal of the education. The department has established three directions for student development. These are:
- Production Management
It emphasizes on production scheduling, quality control management, inventory management, supply chain management, human factor, etc.
- Intelligent Manufacturing
It emphasizes on automatic production, auto cad, neuro net & optimization.
- Technology Management
It emphasizes on intellectual strategy, pattern strategy, innovation management, marketing management, entrepreneurial management, analysis of decision making and project management.
Besides the knowledge, the Department emphasizes on oral presentation skills & problem solving abilities. The courses are designed comprehensively in regards with cases, internships, presentations, etc.
The professional licenses for the Department include Industrial Engineering License, Auto Cad Certified Professional, TQC Database Management, APMA license, Industrial Analysis, and ERP Management.
